Young Life nationally operates a membership scheme. This is a way by which you can express an affinity with our aims and values. Those attending our branch can apply for branch membership. It's free to become a branch member, the only requirement is agreement with the Young Life (NYLC) Covenant:
- I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Sinbearer, Saviour and Sovereign.
- I am, or intend to become, a member of a Christian Church and will endeavour to take my share in worship, and to serve as an active member of my church as I am able.
- I believe the Bible to be the Word of God, and that my life should be ordered by its teaching. I will, therefore, give time daily to Bible reading and prayer.
- I am willing to be known as a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my daily life, so that I may be a true witness, and thus be used that others may come to know Christ as Saviour.
- I will endeavour to do my daily work diligently as unto the Lord.
- I recognise the claim that Christ has upon my whole life. I will do my utmost by prayer, gifts and service to help in the proclamation of the Gospel at home and abroad, and through the evangelism of this Movement.
